Another Week...

I've made it through another week... and managed to get all of the reading done for the "heavy reading" class, which was a nice trick in itself. I have a stack of "other readings" for my "research" class that I can also be doing, to be ahead of the curve in a couple of weeks, and I plan on starting after tonight ("being ahead" will be especially useful, after spring break, when I will need to spend more time actually writing than reading, for end-of-semester projects). There's at least two and a half books (the "half" consists of reading the rest of the articles in a journal, as opposed to a "regular" book... but still...) and a screenplay for the research class, coupled with whatever articles we end up getting for the "teaching" class.

[Oooh... got sidetracked because most of the articles for the rest of the semester have now been posted... which will make life so, so much simpler for the next couple of weeks. One brief thing to give me a glimmer of happiness. sigh]

Add to that the actual "projects", and that makes my time get very precious, very quick. Whew... I'm already looking forward to the reprieve that May will bring...

But in other productive news (besides being relatively "caught up" on my assignments), I managed to get some flooring installed in my attic, so we actually have storage space. There will still be some more florring/shelving put in, but the new space is huge compared to the smaller space that existed when we bought the place.

I've been side-tripping for too long, saving copies of the articles... it's time to run for today... small joy.... time for a quick dinner, and off to class.

What are you taking course wise?

6625: Teaching Composition (Theory & Practice)

6805: Research from a Writer's Perspective (1st time the course is being offered)

It's not that they are especially hard, it's just that everything together (both classes, FT job, and actually doing things "in life") makes it a little nerve-racking at times...
